Francesca is single and happy about it. Just turned 49, with a long relationship behind her, she has a rosy future ahead - until the company she works for goes bust and she is suddenly broke; wiped out. She's not a crumbling sort of person but she is forced to change her life, moving to a small city suburb inhabited by a mix of old and new inhabitants.
